The holidays are coming! There are places to go and lots of people to see. How can you ensure you'll look your best?
And, don't forget, your beauty routine should change in the wintertime. It's so important to add extra hydration to your skin care regimen. For example, I use the Dr. Denese Hydroshield Face Serum around my eyes, on my lips, and on my neck and chest in the summertime, but when it turns colder, I extend it to everything from my hair line to my bra line!
The skin on your whole body is going to be dryer, so make sure and take care of that as well. The Josie Maran Argan Oil Body Butter is a great all-over body moisturizer. You can use it head-to-toe, and even put it on your feet and wear socks to bed to make your feet softer.
Make sure and add a very emollient lip balm to your nightly routine if you're not already using one. When your lips get dry, you start biting them, then your lip color doesn't apply well or look smooth. So don't forget your lips in the winter time, either.
And of course, adding a humidifier by the bed can really keep your skin looking glowing. That's an easy one to add. Winter takes it out of your skin, you have to put it back, but with a few little things, you're set. :)
See you Friday at 10pm ET for a special all-beauty edition of A Lisa Robertson Christmas! The gift of beauty is one of the best presents you can give!
